Oh, Y'all!! This is my very first "original" creation. It only took me 3-4 months to perfect, so don't be looking for me to do this every week! 😂. This is a good one! I'll be drinking it all week long because I've decided that Gal-entine's should be a week long event..who's with me? 🙋♀️
Soooo...here it is "POP A SUGAR ON ME!"
Ingredients:
- Vodka...yes, please! - 1oz
- Passion Dragon (I'll post a pic, if you cannot find, just use passion fruit juice...but, it should be a pink juice!) - 1 oz
- FRESH squeezed lemon juice - 1/2 oz
- Simple syrup - 1/2 oz (a little less for me!)
- Chambord (raspberry liquor) - 1/4-1/2 oz
- CHAMPAGE!!! - for topping off the drink...at least 1/2 oz 🍾
OK...for the Rim!! This is the exciting part. POP ROCKS...the candy. I find it at candy store... and Gummy Hearts or Gummy Kiss lips! ❤️💋
Directions:
Definitely use a martini glass for this one! To rim the glass with pop rocks, you will use a lemon wedge..I actually think if you put a little simple syrup on the lemon too, it helps the pop rocks stick a little better (had a few issues with that one on Live!! lol). Put your pop rocks on a plate and just slide the rim around to stick!
In a cocktail shaker with ice, put all your ingredients EXCEPT the champagne in the shaker and shake, shake, shake..💃..shake, shake, shake.🎶🎶...shake your bootay, shake your bootay...Every time I say shake, that song pops into my head! LOL Ok..back to it. Then, strain this beautiful pink loveliness into your glass! NOW...top off with your champagne!!
Last, garnish with your gummy heart or kiss. I cut a small slit with a very sharp knife in the bottom of my kiss lips so they sit on the glass well. (please do not cut yo-self!)
There you have it...not only is it gorgeous and SO MUCH FLIPPIN' FUN with the pop rocks, but it truly does taste amazing! It will be your fav!! - I HOPE!
